Miki decided to talk to Max. He walked up to him, but Max growled loudly. Miki felt his legs shaking. He wanted to run away too. Max was so much bigger and stronger than him. Miki took a deep breath and tried to be brave.

Miki felt like giving up. He sat down and thought about his friends. - I can't do this, Miki said. - Yes, you can! We believe in you! Miki's friends cheered him on. Miki felt a little better, but he still didn't know how to solve the problem.
Just then, an older, wiser dog named Bella came by. - What's going on, little one? she asked. Miki told Bella about Max. - Sometimes, a kind word is all it takes, Bella said. Miki listened and felt a spark of hope.
