Next, Mimi ventured to the park where children played. She looked around but couldn't find her ball. Suddenly, a big dog named Rex spotted her. 'What are you doing here, little kitty?' Rex barked loudly. Mimi's heart pounded, but she stood her ground. 'I’m looking for my red ball,' she replied nervously.
Mimi felt more and more tired. She thought about giving up. 'Maybe I’ll never find it,' she sighed. As she sat under a tree, tears welled up in her eyes. 'I miss my ball so much,' she whispered. Mimi felt alone and defeated.
Just then, an old, wise cat named Tico approached her. ' - Why are you so sad, little one?' Tico asked gently. ' - I lost my red ball and can’t find it,' Mimi explained. Tico smiled and said, ' - Sometimes, we need to look at things differently. Have you checked the old oak tree?' Mimi’s eyes brightened. 'Thank you, Tico!' she exclaimed.
