Omar, a 15-year-old boy from Tripoli, Lebanon, dreams of reaching a hidden beach. On his journey, he faces numerous obstacles that test his resolve and wisdom. Will he overcome them and find the hidden beach?
Omar had always dreamed of visiting a hidden beach his grandfather told him about. One hot summer day, he decided it was time to find it. Omar's friend, Ali, joined him as they set out on their bikes. They carried a map that Omar had drawn from his grandfather's old stories. But as they reached the outskirts of Tripoli, they realized the map was incomplete.
They needed to find the missing part of the map to locate the beach. Omar suggested asking the local fishermen near the port. They cycled to the port, where the smell of fresh fish filled the air. Omar approached an old fisherman named Youssef, hoping he could help. But Youssef wasn't willing to share his knowledge easily.
Youssef agreed to help but only if they could solve a riddle. The riddle was complex, involving landmarks and historical references. Omar and Ali spent hours trying to figure it out, but they kept getting it wrong. With each failure, they felt more and more frustrated. Omar began to doubt if they would ever find the beach.
After several failed attempts, Omar felt like giving up. He sat down on a bench, staring at the sea, feeling defeated. Ali tried to cheer him up, but Omar was too disheartened. He remembered his grandfather's stories and the wisdom they carried. But at that moment, everything seemed impossible.
As they were about to leave, a kind old woman named Hala approached them. She had overheard their conversation and offered some advice. 'Wisdom comes from patience and perspective,' she said.
