The river looked very cold and dangerous, and Sam didn't know how to cross it. - How am I going to get past this? he wondered aloud. He tried to find a bridge, but there was none in sight. Sam was starting to feel very discouraged.
Feeling defeated, Sam sat down on a snowy rock. He thought about turning back, feeling he would never meet the wise dragon. - Maybe I should just go home, Sam sighed sadly. His eyes filled with tears as he looked at the endless forest around him. The problem seemed too big for such a small boy.
Just then, a friendly old owl landed nearby. - Why are you so sad, young one? the owl asked. Sam explained his quest and troubles, and the owl smiled kindly. - The path to wisdom is not always easy, the owl said. Sometimes, you must look within yourself to find the answers you seek. With new hope, Sam realized he could be wise by listening to his heart.
With the owl's guidance, Sam found a hidden path that led him out of the fog and across the river. At last, he reached the dragon's cave and learned that true wisdom comes from experiences and kindness. - Thank you for helping me understand, Sam said, feeling proud and happy.
