Ruby whispered. Her little brother, Tim, appeared. ' - What are you doing?' he asked. ' - I'm looking for a key,' Ruby explained. ' - Can you help me?'
Tim agreed to help, but they searched the entire house without any luck. Ruby felt tears well up in her eyes. ' - Maybe we should give up,' she said, feeling defeated. ' - Don't give up, Ruby,' Tim encouraged her. ' - We just need to think harder.' Ruby sighed, doubting they would ever find the key. She slumped against the wall, feeling hopeless.
Tim had an idea. ' - What if we asked Mom?' he suggested. Ruby hesitated but agreed. They found their mom in the kitchen, and Ruby explained everything. ' - Honesty is always the best policy,' her mom said with a smile. ' - I know where the key is. Follow me.' Ruby's heart raced as they followed their mom to the living room.
Their mom reached behind a picture frame and pulled out the key. ' - Here it is,' she said, handing it to Ruby. Ruby's eyes sparkled with excitement. Back in the treehouse, she unlocked the box to find a beautiful, handwritten letter from her grandmother. The letter reminded Ruby of the importance of honesty and family.
