Hassan was so excited to visit the zoo. It was his first time seeing all the animals. He couldn't wait to feed them. But Hassan felt a little scared. What if the animals didn't like him? Hassan knew he had to be brave.
Hassan saw the elephants first. They were so big! He wanted to feed them, but their size made him nervous. - How can I feed them? Hassan wondered. He took a step back, feeling unsure. Maybe feeding the animals was too hard.
Next, Hassan saw the lions. They roared loudly, shaking the ground. - I can't do it, Hassan said, stepping back again. His heart was pounding. Feeding the lions seemed impossible! Hassan felt his courage slipping away.
Hassan sat down on a bench, feeling sad. - Maybe I'm not brave enough, he said to himself. He watched other kids feeding animals easily. Hassan thought about giving up. He felt a little tearful, missing out on the fun.
Just then, an old zookeeper approached Hassan. - Would you like some help? he asked kindly. The zookeeper showed Hassan how to hold the food. - You can do it, the zookeeper smiled. Hassan felt a spark of courage.
Hassan took a deep breath and tried feeding a giraffe. To his surprise, it was easy! The giraffe gently took the food with its long tongue. - I did it! Hassan cheered. His fear vanished, and he felt proud and brave.
