Marcus was very excited. Today, his family was going on a dinosaur expedition! Marcus wanted to find a dinosaur egg, but he was scared. The jungle was big and noisy. " - What if I can't do it?" Marcus asked his mom. She smiled and said, " - You're brave, Marcus!"
The family set off in their jeep, driving through the thick jungle. Suddenly, the path was blocked by a fallen tree. " - How will we get past this?" Marcus wondered aloud. " - Let's think!" said his dad, pulling out a rope. Marcus watched as everyone worked together to move the tree.
As they continued, the jeep got stuck in a muddy patch. " - Oh no!" Marcus exclaimed. " - We're stuck!" His sister pointed out a stream nearby. " - Maybe we can push the jeep to the stream," she suggested. They all pushed and pulled, but the jeep didn’t move. Marcus felt worried.
Finally, they reached a dinosaur nesting area, but it was empty. Marcus felt sad. " - Where are the eggs?" he asked. They searched everywhere in the tall grass. " - Let's not give up," said his mom, encouraging him. Marcus felt a bit better.
Marcus sat on a rock, feeling like giving up. " - Maybe we won't find any dinosaur eggs," he said. He watched the birds fly above. " - I don't think I can do it," he sighed. His mom sat beside him and hugged him. " - It’s okay to be scared," she said softly.
Marcus looked at a tiny bird building a nest. " - If the bird can build a nest, I can find an egg," he thought. He felt a new courage inside him. " - Let's keep looking!" he said, jumping up. His family smiled and they all started searching again.
Marcus climbed onto a big rock and looked around. There, in a hidden corner, he saw something shiny. " - I found something!" he called out. His family rushed over to see. It was a nest with a beautiful dinosaur egg! Marcus was thrilled.
The family celebrated their discovery, and Marcus felt proud. " - We did it!" he cheered. They carefully took the egg back to the jeep. " - You were very brave, Marcus," his dad said. Marcus smiled, knowing he had found courage in the jungle.
