The airplane soared high above the clouds. Alfie looked out the window and pointed, "Look, Grandma, fluffy clouds!" But Alfie couldn't see any wisdom in them.
When they reached California, Alfie was eager to find the 'lost wisdom.' But first, they had to unpack and settle in. Alfie felt a bit impatient.
They decided to start their search in the garden. Alfie checked under every flower and leaf. But the wisdom wasn't hiding there.
- Maybe it's in the pool! Alfie said excitedly. They swam and splashed all around. But there was no wisdom in the water.
- Let's try the kitchen, Alfie suggested. They baked cookies, but no wisdom was found in the flour or dough.
Alfie felt sad and a bit tired. - What if we never find it? he sighed. Grandma gave him a hug, "Let's rest and think."
Grandpa had an idea. "Wisdom comes from stories," he said. Together, they opened a big book full of tales and began to read.
By the end of the day, Alfie understood. The 'lost wisdom' was in the stories Grandpa shared. Alfie smiled, knowing he had found something special.
