Amy was a curious and determined seven-year-old girl. One night, she woke up to the sound of rustling in the kitchen. To her surprise, the next morning all the cookies were gone! Amy decided she had to find out who the cookie thief was. She felt it was her mission to solve this mystery.
Amy decided to stay up late to catch the cookie thief. She hid behind the kitchen door with her amazing watch to keep track of time. But as the hours passed, she grew tired and fell asleep. When she woke up, the cookies were gone again.
Undeterred, Amy set up a cookie trap the next night. She placed a noisy bell on the cookie jar lid. But the next morning, the bell was on the floor, and the cookies were gone. Amy felt frustrated and even thought about giving up.
