Vincent and his dog Joy went to the park. Vincent wanted to fly his favorite kite. But oh no, the kite was missing! Vincent felt sad and said he couldn't fly it now. Joy barked, trying to cheer Vincent up. They decided to find the kite together.
Vincent and Joy began their search. They looked under benches and behind bushes. Vincent said, - Where can our kite be, Joy? But they couldn't find it anywhere. Vincent felt a bit scared. Joy barked again, saying, - Let's keep looking!
Vincent and Joy saw a squirrel. - Mr. Squirrel, have you seen a kite? Vincent asked. But the squirrel just chattered and ran up a tree. Vincent felt a little upset. Joy tugged at Vincent's shirt, urging him to move on. They had to keep looking.
Vincent felt like giving up. - Maybe we'll never find it, he sighed. Joy licked Vincent's face, trying to comfort him. Vincent sat down on the grass, feeling tired. Joy barked and nudged Vincent's arm. Vincent knew they needed to try again.
Suddenly, Vincent remembered something! - The big tree by the pond, he exclaimed. They ran to the pond and looked up. There it was, the kite was stuck in the branches! Vincent smiled wide. Joy wagged its tail excitedly.
With a little help, Vincent got the kite down. - We did it, Joy! Vincent cheered. They ran to the open field and flew the kite high. Vincent felt very happy and wise. Joy barked joyfully, running beside him. Together, they enjoyed the windy day.
