Anja lived in busy Berlin with her dog Mila. She loved her teddy bear more than anything. One sunny day, Anja noticed a sad child in the park. Anja wanted to share her teddy to cheer the child up. But when she went to give it, her teddy was missing! Anja felt very sad.
Anja and Mila searched the playground. They looked under the slide and in the sandbox. But there was no teddy bear. Anja felt tears in her eyes. - Where could it be, Mila? Anja asked.
Anja decided to look by the big fountain. Oh no, there were so many people! A man accidentally splashed water on Mila. Anja couldn't see well past the crowd. - It's too hard, Mila! Anja exclaimed, feeling a bit hopeless.
Anja sat on a bench, feeling tired. - Maybe we should just go home, Anja sighed. But then, Mila barked excitedly at a kind lady. The lady smiled and handed Anja a note. It was a clue about the teddy!
The note said to look near the ice cream stand. Anja ran, with Mila close by. They saw a little girl holding her teddy. - That's mine! Anja said, but then she saw the girl's big smile. Anja realized the girl was happy with it, just like she hoped.
Anja decided to let the girl keep the teddy. She felt happy seeing the girl so joyful. - It's okay, Mila, Anja whispered. Mila wagged her tail. Anja learned that sharing makes everyone feel good.
