With courage and determination, Malachi proves that what makes him different also makes him special.

Malachi was a curious 4-year-old living in sunny Texas. One day, he sat on his porch, feeling puzzled. He said, - Why do people say I’m different, Mom? They think my autism is a problem. Malachi wanted to show everyone that his autism was actually a super power!

The next day at preschool, Malachi faced his first challenge. His friends were playing a game, but he didn't understand the rules. - Can I play too? Malachi asked, but the kids didn’t hear him. He felt left out and a little sad.

Malachi decided to try again the next day. He brought his favorite toy to share, but the teacher reminded him of the 'no toys' rule. - Oh no, Malachi sighed, feeling disappointed. Then, during story time, he couldn’t sit still and the teacher had to remind him to focus.

Malachi felt like giving up. - Maybe I'll never fit in, he thought sadly. At home, he told his mom about his tough day. - I just want to be like everyone else, Malachi said. His mom gave him a big hug and told him, - You are special just the way you are.

The next morning, Malachi’s mom had an idea. - How about we make a comic book about your super power? she suggested. Malachi's eyes lit up. - Yes! I can show everyone what I can do! Together, they drew pictures and wrote stories about Malachi’s amazing brain.

At preschool, Malachi shared his comic book with pride. - Look, this is my super power! he said to his friends. The kids were amazed and wanted to learn more. Malachi realized that being different was his strength. He smiled, knowing he was truly special.
