Rewa and Aagy were on a grand adventure! They were hiking with their parents in the Enchanted Rocks of Texas. To Aagy, it felt like they were explorers in a jungle. Ahead stood a massive rock, taller than anything Rewa had seen. She wondered if she could climb it.
Aagy was already halfway up the rock, climbing like a little monkey. Rewa looked at the rock nervously. - I want to climb too, Rewa said. But the rock seemed too steep and slippery.
With each step, Rewa felt the rock getting steeper. Her feet slipped on the moss. - I don't think I can do it, she whispered. Her heart beat faster with each failed attempt.
Rewa sat down at the base of the rock, feeling defeated. - Maybe I should just wait here, she sighed. Tears welled up in her eyes as she watched Aagy reach the top.
Aagy climbed back down and sat beside Rewa. - Remember the wobbly bridge? he asked. - One step at a time, Rewa, he encouraged. She smiled, feeling hope return.
Rewa stood up, feeling brave. She took one small step, then another. - I can do it! she cheered. Before she knew it, she was at the top with Aagy, feeling proud and happy.
