Eliott and Max searched high and low but couldn't find the coin anywhere. They checked the park, the swings, and even under the benches. - I'm never going to find it, Eliott sighed. Just then, a gust of wind blew his hat away. Eliott chased after it, feeling like everything was going wrong. - Why is this so hard, Max? Eliott asked.
Feeling defeated, Eliott sat down on a bench. He thought of giving up and going home. - Maybe I can't help her, he muttered. Max nuzzled Eliott's hand, trying to cheer him up. Eliott felt a little better, but the problem still seemed too big. He didn't like feeling helpless.
Just then, an old woman sat next to Eliott. - You look troubled, she said kindly. Eliott explained his problem. The woman smiled and handed him a shiny coin. - Sometimes, sharing what we have is the best way to help others, she said. Eliott's eyes sparkled with hope.
With the coin in hand, Eliott rushed back to the bakery. He gave the coin to the little girl, and her tears turned into a bright smile. - Thank you, she said joyfully. Eliott felt proud and happy. As he walked away, he realized that helping others made his day truly beautiful.
