JJ decided he would teach the baby how to play with toys. " - Come on, teddy!" he said, inviting his teddy bear to join. But the teddy bear wouldn't stand up. " - Why won't you work?" JJ huffed. It seemed nothing was going right.
JJ tried to read a story to practice for the baby. But he got stuck on some difficult words. " - I can't do it!" JJ sighed. He felt like giving up. Maybe he wasn't ready to be a big brother after all.
JJ's mom saw he was sad. " - Don't worry, JJ," she said. " - You're doing great." JJ thought about all the things he could do. " - I can try again," he said with a smile. JJ felt a little better.
JJ decided to try again. He practiced reading with his mom. " - You can do it!" she cheered. JJ read the whole story. He was ready to try teaching again.
