Poti Poti tried to catch the butterfly, but it flew away. She ran after it, knocking over a bowl of sugar. The kitchen was becoming a mess! Her godmother would be upset. Poti Poti felt worried. She decided to try again, but more carefully.
The butterfly landed on a high shelf. Poti Poti climbed up to reach it, but she slipped and fell. Her knee hurt, and the butterfly flew away again. She felt like crying. Poti Poti wondered if she should even try catching it anymore.
Poti Poti sat on the floor, holding her knee. She was ready to give up. Just then, her godmother walked in. 'Poti Poti, what's wrong?' she asked. Poti Poti explained everything. Her godmother smiled and said, 'Let's solve this together.'
Her godmother showed her how to gently catch the butterfly without scaring it. Poti Poti tried again, slowly this time. The butterfly landed on her hand! Poti Poti felt proud. 'Thank you, Madrinha!' she said with a big smile.
They released the butterfly out the window, and it flew away. Poti Poti helped clean up the kitchen. 'I'm sorry for the mess,' she said. Her godmother hugged her. 'Honesty is important, Poti Poti. You did the right thing.' Poti Poti felt happy and learned a valuable lesson about honesty.
