At school, Mollie placed her backpack on the floor. Brody peeked out and saw children everywhere. He felt a little scared. "What if they don't like me?" he thought. But he also felt excited.
The teacher started the lesson, and Brody heard crinkling sounds from the backpack. It was the snacks! Brody couldn't resist and jumped out of the backpack. All the children gasped in surprise.
Brody ran across the classroom, doing flips and tricks. The children clapped and cheered. One child said, "He's amazing!" But then, Brody knocked over a stack of books.
The teacher gently picked up the books and smiled at Brody. "We can't have messes in class," she said. Brody felt bad and sat quietly on the floor. "I just wanted to make them happy," he thought.
Day after day, Brody came to school, doing tricks and bringing smiles. But one day, the principal said, "We can't have dogs in school every day." Brody felt sad, thinking he might not come back.
Brody thought about giving up his school visits. "Maybe I should stay home," he thought. But then, he remembered the children's happy faces. "I can't give up," he decided.
The teacher noticed how much Brody meant to the children. She talked to the principal, "Brody brings joy and comfort. He could be our class pet!" The principal thought about it and nodded.
Brody became the class pet, bringing happiness to everyone. The children loved him, and he felt welcomed and loved. "I'm so glad I didn't give up," Brody thought happily. Every day at school was now a joy.
