As everyone brushed their teeth, Nox was still playing. Dad called from the hallway, " - Nox, bath time!" But Nox was busy building with blocks. " - No bath, build!" Nox replied stubbornly.
Nox's eyes grew heavy, and he felt upset. He wanted to play, but everything seemed against him. " - Why can't I just play?" Nox whispered sadly to his dog. Nox felt like giving up his fun games.
Then, Grandma came to visit with a wise smile. " - Nox, you love playing, but rest is important too," she gently explained. Nox listened carefully, realizing he could play more after a good night's sleep. " - Okay, Grandma, tomorrow!" Nox agreed.
Nox finally climbed into his bed, hugging his teddy close. " - Night-night, Nox," Mama and Papa whispered, tucking him in. Nox smiled, feeling cozy and sleepy. He learned that resting is just as important as playing. In Sunburns’ home, all was calm, even Nox.
