Chester and Brodie were excited to visit Nan and Grump's house. But when they arrived, they found a big, scary fence blocking their favorite garden. They needed to find a way to get through it to play. It seemed impossible! Chester turned to Brodie. - How will we play now? Chester asked.
Chester tried to dig under the fence, but the ground was too hard. Brodie tried to jump over it, but it was too high. They both felt stuck and sad. - Maybe we should just go inside, Brodie sighed. But they really wanted to play in the garden.
They decided to look for another way in. They crawled through bushes that scratched their fur. Chester and Brodie found a small hole, but it was too tiny. - Oh no, we can't fit! Chester exclaimed. They were starting to lose hope.
Tired and frustrated, Chester sat by the fence. Brodie lay next to him, feeling defeated. - Maybe we should give up, Chester whispered. They both felt like the garden was too far away. But they didn't want to stop trying.
Just then, Nan came outside and saw them. She smiled and showed them a hidden gate. - Thank you, Nan! Chester barked happily. They realized they just needed help to find the solution. Chester and Brodie wagged their tails excitedly.
With the gate open, Chester and Brodie raced into the garden. They played chase around the big oak tree and in the flowers. - We did it, Chester laughed. They learned that courage and help could solve any problem. It was the best day ever!
