Cocoa, a curious and congenial 12-year-old, faces a dilemma on the first day of summer school in Chicago. A bubble gum incident puts her in a tough spot, and she must navigate a series of obstacles to find a way out, all while learning the importance of honesty.

Cocoa decided to try and remove the gum before anyone noticed. She grabbed a paper towel and started scraping it off. However, the gum was really sticky and only spread more.
Her friend, Jake, saw what she was doing and offered to help. They tried using ice to harden the gum, but it still wouldn't come off. Just then, the teacher started walking towards them.
Cocoa felt like giving up. She thought about running away but knew that wouldn't solve anything. She sat down, feeling defeated.
Just then, Miss Parker, the school janitor, saw Cocoa and Jake. Miss Parker smiled and said, - It looks like you need some help. She showed them a special spray that could remove the gum easily.
With Miss Parker's spray, the gum came off easily. Cocoa took a deep breath and decided to tell the teacher the truth. The teacher appreciated her honesty and forgave her. Cocoa learned that being honest was the best way to solve problems.
