She felt tears prick her eyes. But then, she spotted a small path leading deeper into the forest. Maybe there was someone who could help!

Suddenly, a gentle breeze whispered through the trees. A wise old owl flew down and perched nearby. - Don't give up, little one, the owl hooted. - Use the vines above to make a path. Cuqui's eyes brightened with hope. She thanked the owl and quickly climbed to the vines.
Cuqui used the vines to carefully pull the thorn bush apart. Slowly, the kitten was freed and jumped into Cuqui's arms. - Thank you! the kitten meowed happily.
