Dave the Great and His Amazing Sisters: Dave Learns Why It's Good to Tell the Truth

Honesty Pixar style

Little Dave loves karate and has a big imagination, but sometimes he tells tall tales. When no one believes him about a missing cookie jar, Dave feels frustrated and alone. Will he learn that honesty is the best way to be heard and trusted?

Dave was playing karate at Grandma Nena's house. He spun and kicked, shouting, 'Hiya!' But something was wrong. Grandma Nena noticed the cookie jar was missing. 'Dave, do you know where it went?' she asked.

Dave thought it would be fun to pretend a ninja took the cookies. ' - A ninja came and took them!' he exclaimed. Grandma Nena looked confused. ' - Oh dear, are you sure?' she asked. Dave nodded, but his sisters giggled.

His sister Mia tugged on his shirt, ' - Dave, tell the truth!' she said. Dave wanted to be a hero like in his karate stories. But now, no one believed him anymore. ' - It was really a ninja!' he insisted. Grandma shook her head.

Dave felt sad. ' - They don't believe me,' he whispered to himself. He sat by the window, watching the trees. ' - Maybe I should just give up,' he thought. But he really wanted to solve the mystery.

Then, Grandma Nena sat beside him. ' - Dave, honesty is like a superpower,' she said. Dave's eyes widened. ' - Really?' he asked. ' - Yes, it helps people trust you,' she smiled.

Dave thought hard and stood up. ' - Okay, it wasn't a ninja. I moved the jar to the shelf,' he admitted. Everyone smiled and clapped. ' - Thank you, Dave,' said Grandma Nena. Dave felt proud and happy to be honest.
