De Verlegen Uil

Tolerance Pixar style

Flap is a shy little owl starting in a new school in Belgium. He feels lonely and uncertain, struggling to make friends. As he faces obstacles, he learns the importance of tolerance and eventually finds his place in the class.

Flap the owl was excited and nervous. It was his first day at a new school in Belgium. He worried that his shyness would make it hard to make friends. What if nobody wanted to play with him? This thought made his feathers droop. Flap knew he needed to be brave.

As Flap entered the classroom, he saw all the other animals talking and laughing. Flap felt too shy to join in. He quietly sat at the back, hoping someone would notice him. But everyone was busy with their own friends. Flap sighed and wished for a friend.

During recess, Flap tried to join a group playing a game. But he stumbled and fell, making the others giggle. " - Are you okay?" a kind squirrel asked. Flap nodded, but felt even more embarrassed. He flew away to sit alone under a tree.

Feeling defeated, Flap considered not going back to school. " - Maybe I don't belong here," he thought. He imagined staying in his cozy nest forever. But deep down, he knew he wanted friends. His heart felt heavy with loneliness.

The next day, as Flap sat alone, a wise old turtle approached him. " - Everyone feels shy sometimes," the turtle said gently. " - It's okay to be yourself." Flap listened and felt a spark of hope. Maybe he could try again, but this time, he would be himself.

On the third day, Flap decided to be brave and join a game of tag. " - Can I play too?" he asked. The other animals smiled and welcomed him. As he played, Flap laughed and felt happy. He realized he had found his place after all.
