Dhruva and the Garbage Truck

In Seattle, Dhruva loved watching the garbage truck come by every week. But one day, all the recycling bins in the neighborhood disappeared! Without recycling, the city would be covered in trash. Dhruva felt it was a huge problem. - Oh no, where did all the bins go? Dhruva wondered. He knew he had to do something.

Dhruva decided to find the missing bins. But he was scared to start looking alone. As he stood there, the garbage truck suddenly spoke! - Hi Dhruva, I'm Gus! Let's find the bins together, Gus said. Dhruva felt a little braver with Gus by his side.

Dhruva and Gus searched the neighborhood. They checked the park, but no bins there. Then they looked near the school, but still no bins. - What if we never find them? Dhruva asked, feeling worried. Gus reassured him not to give up.

They decided to ask the people in the neighborhood. Some kids said they saw a big truck take the bins away. - A big truck? Maybe it's a clue, Dhruva said excitedly. But then they saw the truck tracks disappear into the forest. It seemed too hard to follow.

At the recycling center, they found all the bins lined up. - We did it, Gus! Dhruva exclaimed joyously. They talked to the workers and explained the mix-up. The workers promised to return the bins to their rightful places.

With the bins back in the neighborhood, everything was clean and tidy again. - Thanks, Gus, for helping me, Dhruva said happily. Dhruva realized that working together made them wise. From then on, Dhruva and Gus became best friends, ready for more adventures.
