On her first day, Elena decided to give surfing a try. She struggled to balance on the surfboard. The waves seemed huge and scary. Elena fell into the water with a big splash. She felt cold and a bit scared. - I don't think I can do this, she said to herself.
The next day, Elena decided to try again. But this time, the wind was strong, making the waves even bigger. Each time she tried to stand, she fell off. - Why is this so hard? Elena wondered out loud. She felt like the ocean was too powerful for her. Her arms were tired, and she was soaked from head to toe.
After several tries, Elena felt like giving up. She sat on the sand, watching other surfers glide with ease. - Maybe surfing just isn't for me, she sighed. She felt a little sad because she really wanted to surf. Her aunts noticed her sitting alone. They walked over and sat beside her.
