In the bustling city of Johannesburg, in a distant future, lived a young elephant named Titus. Titus was shy and often felt different because of his grey skin and lack of hair. Springtime was in full bloom, but Titus couldn't enjoy it. He was worried about the upcoming school talent show. The problem was, Titus didn't believe he had any talent.
Titus decided to sign up for the talent show despite his shyness. As he stood in front of the sign-up sheet, his heart pounded. He scribbled his name and quickly walked away. His friend, Zara, a confident zebra, saw him. - You signed up! What are you going to do? Zara asked. - I don't know yet, Titus replied.
The first obstacle came when Titus tried to practice singing. His voice cracked, and he felt embarrassed. He tried dancing, but he tripped over his own feet. - This is hopeless, he thought. - Why don't you try playing an instrument? Zara suggested. - I'm not good at anything, Titus sighed.
The more Titus practiced, the more he failed. He tried painting, but the colors mixed into a mess. - Maybe I'm just not meant to be in the talent show, Titus thought. He sat under a big baobab tree, feeling defeated. - I should just give up, he mumbled. His ears drooped, and he felt like crying.
