Emilian, a curious and sweet six-year-old girl who can hear plants and animals, discovers that her forest friends are suffering from climate change. Determined to help, she embarks on a mission to save her beloved forest with the help of her friends, Lily the rabbit and Ben the squirrel.
Once upon a time, in a big, green forest, there lived a little girl named Emilian. Emilian had a very special secret – she could hear what plants and animals were saying! One sunny morning, she noticed that the forest was looking duller and duller. She heard a whimper from a small flower. - My leaves are burning! the flower cried.
Emilian looked up and saw the sun shining brighter than usual. She hurried over to a wise old oak tree to find out what was happening. - What's happening? Emilian asked. - It's called climate change, the oak tree explained. - People are making the Earth too warm. Emilian felt a pang of sadness. She wanted to help her plant and animal friends.
Emilian ran to her friends' house, Lily the rabbit and Ben the squirrel, and told them what she had heard. - We need to help! Emilian said. Together, they decided to ask the animals and plants what they needed. They went from tree to tree, flower to flower, listening to their worries. First, she visited a buzzing beehive.
- How can we help? Emilian asked the bees. - Plant more flowers! they buzzed. - We need more food. Emilian nodded and continued her journey. She met a chirping bird who said, - We need more trees to build our nests. A wise old turtle told her, - We need to clean up the oceans. There's too much trash.
Emilian listened carefully to all her friends. - How can we do all this? she asked Lily and Ben. - It's too much for us alone, Ben said, looking worried. Emilian felt like giving up. But then she had an idea. - We can ask the grown-ups for help! she exclaimed.
With the help of others, Emilian worked hard to make the forest a better place. They planted seeds, watered the plants, and built birdhouses. Slowly but surely, the forest began to change. The plants grew greener, the animals were happier, and the air felt fresher. - We did it! Emilian cheered. From that day on, Emilian knew that even a little girl could help protect the planet.
