Umbanda lived in a vibrant village where everyone relied on the healing powers of sacred herbs. One day, the village elder fell gravely ill, and no one could find the right herb to cure him. Umbanda felt a deep sense of urgency to help. The elder's illness threatened the well-being of the entire village. Umbanda decided to embark on a quest to find the elusive herb, known as the Herb of Charity.
Umbanda started their journey by visiting the dense forest nearby. The forest was thick and dark, making it hard to see or move quickly. Umbanda felt a bit scared but pushed forward. Suddenly, a thorny vine wrapped around their leg, making it difficult to move. Umbanda tried to free themselves but the vine's grip was too strong.
- I can't get free, Umbanda said, feeling discouraged. Out of nowhere, a friendly squirrel appeared and gnawed at the vine, freeing Umbanda. - Thank you! Umbanda exclaimed. - Be careful, the squirrel warned. - The forest is full of challenges.
After escaping the vine, Umbanda continued deeper into the forest. They came across a raging river blocking their path. Umbanda knew they had to cross but had no way to do so. They tried to build a raft, but the current was too strong, and the raft fell apart. Umbanda felt defeated.
- I'll never find the herb, Umbanda sighed, sitting by the riverbank. Just then, a wise old owl flew down and perched on a nearby branch. - Do not give up, the owl advised. - Look for the stepping stones hidden beneath the water. Umbanda felt a glimmer of hope and started searching the riverbed.
Umbanda found the stepping stones and carefully crossed the river. On the other side, they discovered a beautiful meadow filled with glowing herbs. But which one was the Herb of Charity? Umbanda felt overwhelmed by the choices. - How will I know which one it is? Umbanda wondered aloud.
The owl reappeared and said, - The Herb of Charity glows the brightest when you think of others. Umbanda closed their eyes and thought about the village elder and everyone in the village. One herb began to glow brighter than the rest. Umbanda knew they had found the Herb of Charity.
Umbanda returned to the village with the Herb of Charity. They prepared a special bath for the elder, using the herb's healing properties. The elder recovered quickly, bringing joy and relief to everyone. Umbanda realized that true charity comes from thinking of others. The village celebrated Umbanda's success, grateful for their bravery and kindness.
