Fabien, the Fat Cat, loves eating kaya toast with his friends in Singapore. One day, his toast goes missing! As they search, they discover that honesty is the key to solving the mystery.

But one morning, something terrible happened. “Where’s my kaya toast?” Fabien cried. His plate was empty!
His friends looked around. “Are you sure you didn’t eat it already?” Pinky Pig asked. “No! It was right here!” Fabien huffed.
Just then, Spiky Hedgehog looked nervous. His tiny paws were sticky, and there were crumbs on his face. Fabien’s eyes narrowed. “Spiky… did you eat my kaya toast?” Spiky Hedgehog shuffled his feet. “Umm… no?”
Kiko sniffed the air. “Spiky, you smell like kaya.” Spiky Hedgehog’s face turned red. He gulped. “Okay… I did eat it. I’m sorry!”
Fabien’s tail twitched. “Why did you lie?” Spiky sighed. “I was scared you’d be angry. I didn’t have money to buy my own, and it smelled so good…” Fabien took a deep breath. “I’m upset, but I’d rather you tell the truth. Friends should be honest with each other.”
Pinky Pig nodded. “Honesty is important! If we find lost money, we should return it. If we make a mistake, we must own up.” Kiko wagged his tail. “Telling the truth helps people trust us.” Spiky Hedgehog looked down. “I understand now. I should have told the truth.”
Fabien thought for a moment. “If you’re honest, I forgive you.” Spiky smiled. “Thank you! I’ll never lie again.” Just then, the kind old uncle at the coffee shop walked over. “I heard what happened, little ones. I’ll give you another kaya toast—but next time, just ask.” Everyone cheered. That morning, they shared their food and laughter, knowing that honesty would always keep their friendship strong.
