Lucas tried to go to the potty, but the path was full of bumps and puddles. "I can't do it," Lucas said, feeling worried. The clever parrot said, "You can, Lucas! Just keep trying!" Lucas nodded, but the path looked long and hard.
Feeling tired, Lucas sat down under a big tree. "Maybe I should give up," he sighed. His friend, the wise tortoise, came by and said, "Lucas, sometimes slow and steady wins the race." Lucas thought about it, but he felt stuck.
The wise tortoise told Lucas a secret. "Imagine the potty is your favorite toy," he said. Lucas imagined and suddenly felt brave. "I can do this!" Lucas smiled and stood up to try again. He felt ready and strong.
