Fire Book The sun was shining brightly in the city near Los Angeles as Steve, a 35 year-old firefighter, responded in his fire engine siren screaming to an emergency call. Suddenly, a distressed woman approached him, " - My dog, Lucky, has fallen into the storm drain!" she cried. Steve's heart raced as he realized he needed to act quickly to save Lucky. " - Don't worry, I'll help," Steve assured her confidently. The storm drain was deep and dark, and Steve knew it wouldn't be easy. He needed to think fast and find a way to rescue Lucky before it was too late. Steve hurried to grab his gear, preparing for the rescue. " - You have to hurry, Steve!" the woman yelled, pacing nervously. As Steve approached the storm drain, he realized it was too narrow for him to fit through. " - How am I going to reach Lucky?" He needed to dig deep into his problem-solving skills to find a solution. - Maybe I can lay flat and reach into the drain he thought, examining the surroundings. When he layed next to the drain he saw huge roaches staring back at him. He said hi and they moved their tentacles to say hi back Feeling confident Steve realized he needed to reach into the drain. A passerby suggested reaching his hand into the gutter to coax Lucky out. " - That's a great idea!" Steve exclaimed, feeling hopeful. However, when he tried it, Lucky was too scared to come out. " - I can't give up now," Steve whispered to himself. The situation seemed hopeless, but Steve was determined to rescue Lucky But then, he remembered his training and the wisdom his mentor, Captain Tarwater had shared. " - Never give up, even when things seem impossible," Captain Tarwaters voice echoed in his mind. Steve knew he had to keep trying. With a newfound sense of determination, Steve gathered his team and explained his plan. " - We can use a pulley system to lower someone safely," he suggested.
