Leonie looked under the couch but didn't find the crown. 'Mommy, where is it?' she asked. Her mom smiled and said, 'Keep looking, sweetie.' Leonie felt a little sad. She wanted her crown so much.
Leonie then checked the toy box. But still, no crown. She felt even more worried. 'Will my party be ruined?' she thought. Her mom said, 'Don't give up, Leonie.'
Leonie slumped on the floor. 'Maybe I won’t find it,' she whispered. Her mom hugged her. 'It's okay, Leonie. Sometimes we need a little help from friends.'
Just then, Leonie’s best friend Max arrived. 'What’s wrong?' Max asked. Leonie explained about the missing crown. 'Let's find it together!' Max said. Leonie smiled and felt hopeful again.
Max had an idea. 'Did you check the garden?' he asked. Leonie and Max ran outside. There, in the flowers, was the crown! Leonie hugged Max tightly. 'Thank you, Max!' she said. The party was perfect, and Leonie felt very wise and happy.
