Flawsy the flamingo loved the zoo, but she felt different. Her big feet always tripped, and her long neck seemed too wobbly. One sunny day, Flawsy heard a sad noise. The other animals giggled gently, but Flawsy knew she had to keep trying. - I'll find it, Flawsy promised herself.
Flawsy tried searching again, this time near the tall trees. She stretched her neck high, looking for the ball. Suddenly, a gust of wind wobbled her balance, and she toppled into a pile of leaves. - Oh dear, not again! Flawsy sighed. She felt like giving up, but knew she couldn't let Ellie down.
Feeling sad, Flawsy sat by the pond. - Maybe I can't help, Flawsy said to herself softly. She watched the fish swim and thought about Ellie. Tears filled her eyes, and she almost decided to stop trying. But she remembered Ellie's sad face and knew she had to try one more time. - Don't give up, she whispered.
Just then, Oliver the wise owl flew by. - Why so glum, Flawsy? he asked. Flawsy told him about the lost ball. Oliver smiled and said, - You are special, Flawsy. Use your long neck to reach places others can't. Flawsy felt a spark of hope. - I can try that! she chirped.
With newfound courage, Flawsy stretched her neck into the tallest branches. There, nestled among the leaves, was Ellie's ball! - I found it! Flawsy cheered happily.
