Flawsy the flamingo was excited about her first day at the zoo. But she was nervous too because her long neck and big feet made her clumsy. She wanted to fit in with the other animals, but what if they laughed at her? Flawsy wished she could hide her neck and feet. " - I'm worried they'll make fun of me," Flawsy sighed.

Flawsy tried to join the other flamingos, but her feet tripped over a log. She tumbled and landed in a funny way. " - Oops!" she giggled nervously, hoping no one saw. The other flamingos just shook their heads. " - You'll get used to it," one said, but Flawsy felt embarrassed.

Flawsy wanted to make friends with the monkeys next. But when she tried to swing like them, her scarf got tangled in a branch. " - Help!" she called. The monkeys laughed kindly and helped her down. Flawsy felt even more out of place.

Feeling sad, Flawsy wandered to the pond alone. She watched the other animals play and wished she could be like them. " - Maybe I should just give up," she whispered to herself. Flawsy sat by the water, her tiara slipping off her head.

A wise old turtle noticed Flawsy and stopped by. " - Why so glum, young one?" he asked. Flawsy explained her troubles. " - Your neck and feet make you special," the turtle smiled. " - They're not flaws, they're your strengths!" Flawsy thought about this and felt a spark of hope.

With new courage, Flawsy decided to try again. She used her long neck to reach tasty leaves for everyone. " - Look! Flawsy's helping us!" the other flamingos cheered. Her big feet helped her wade through the water easily. Flawsy felt proud and happy, realizing she was truly flawesome.
