Freddy Has a Frog
Freddy, an adventurous boy with a curious mind, finds a frog named Slippery Sam in the city park. But when Sam needs help finding his little brother frog, Mikey, who is missing from the park, Freddy embarks on a journey filled with challenges to find Mikey, Sam's little brother. Along the way, Freddy learns valuable lessons about wisdom, God's creation, patience, and escaping danger with the help of some unexpected allies.
Freddy was playing in the city park when he noticed a little frog hopping by. He named the frog Slippery Sam and decided to keep him as a friend. But suddenly, Sam jumped into a pond and disappeared. Freddy was determined to find Sam again. " - I have to find Sam," Freddy said to himself. " - He's my new friend!"
Freddy searched around the pond for clues but found none. Then, a group of pigeons blocked his path. " - Please let me through," Freddy pleaded, but the pigeons just cooed and flapped their wings. He tried to go around them but tripped over a rock. " - Ouch! That hurts," Freddy said, rubbing his knee.
As Freddy continued his search, the sky grew cloudy, and a drizzle began. Freddy ran under a tree to stay dry, but now the ground was slippery. " - How will I find Sam in the rain?" Freddy wondered aloud. Just then, a squirrel chattered from a branch above. " - Maybe you can help me," Freddy said to the squirrel.
Freddy followed the squirrel's advice and looked behind the park's big oak tree. But there was no sign of Hopper. Feeling discouraged, Freddy sat on a nearby bench. " - Maybe I'll never find him," Freddy sighed. He stared at the rain-soaked park, feeling a bit hopeless. " - What do I do now?" he asked himself.
An elderly gardener noticed Freddy and approached him. " - You seem troubled, young man," the gardener said. Freddy explained his search for Hopper. The gardener smiled and shared a story about patience and wisdom. " - Sometimes, the answer is right in front of us," the gardener advised. Freddy felt a spark of hope.
