Andrei's First Day

Tolerance Pixar style

Young Andrei faces the fear of separating from his mother on his first day of kindergarten. As he navigates through obstacles and self-doubt, he learns about tolerance and makes new friends, discovering the joy of being in school.

In a sunny autumn morning, Andrei stood at the kindergarten gate. His heart raced as he clung tightly to his mother's hand. Tears threatened to spill down his cheeks. It was his first day at kindergarten, and the thought of being away from his mom was terrifying.

Andrei didn't want to stay. He wanted to go home with his mom. She hugged him tightly, whispering that everything would be okay. But seeing the kids playing made him feel small and alone.

Andrei held his mom's hand tighter as they approached the classroom. He was scared of meeting new children and his teacher, Ms. Elena. He felt like everyone was watching him.

Andrei began to cry and wanted to give up. He could feel his heart pounding and wished he was back home. Ms. Elena saw his tears and bent down to talk to him.

Ms. Elena smiled and introduced him to a boy named Alex. Alex shared his crayons and invited Andrei to draw with him. Andrei hesitated but then picked up a crayon.

By the end of the day, Andrei was laughing and playing with his new friends. He realized that kindergarten wasn't so scary after all. He ran to his mom, excited to tell her everything.
