Giffy thought his long neck might help Mo reach the moon. They decided to try climbing to the tallest tree. But as Mo climbed up Giffy's neck, the branches shook and made Mo nervous. - I'm scared of falling, Mo squeaked. - Hold on tight, we'll find a way, Giffy encouraged.
As they reached the top, they saw the moon was still far away. They needed another plan. Suddenly, a gust of wind made the tree sway. Mo nearly slipped! - Maybe this isn't the best way, Giffy admitted. They climbed down slowly, both feeling discouraged.
Back on the ground, Giffy and Mo felt sad. Mo started to cry. - We'll never get to the moon, Mo sniffed. - Maybe we should give up, Giffy said quietly. They sat in silence, wondering if their dream was impossible.
Just then, a wise old owl landed nearby. - Why so glum? the owl asked. Giffy explained their problem. - Use the river, it flows to the sky at dawn, the owl suggested. - That's it! Mo exclaimed, smiling again. They began planning their new adventure.
At dawn, Giffy carried Mo to the riverbank. As the sun rose, the river sparkled like a path to the sky. - Are you ready? Giffy asked. - I'm ready! Mo cheered. With a big leap, Mo felt as if he were flying, reaching his dream at last.
