God Will Lead You Out

Courage Watercolor style

Lost in the forest, young Samuel must find the courage to follow a mysterious light that promises to lead him back to safety.

Samuel loved adventures in the forest near his house. One day, while playing with friends, he wandered too far and lost sight of them. Panic set in as the trees began to look the same. Darkness was creeping in, and Samuel couldn't find his way back. He felt scared and alone, unsure which way to turn. The forest seemed to whisper, "You're lost."

Samuel decided to follow a path he thought was familiar. But the path twisted and turned, leading him deeper into the woods. He stumbled over roots and tripped on rocks, making him feel even more lost. His heart raced as he realized he had no idea where he was. It was getting darker, and the forest seemed more menacing. Samuel sat down, feeling hopeless.

He tried shouting for his friends, but his voice echoed back, hollow and unanswered. Tears welled in his eyes as he thought of home and the warm dinner waiting for him. Another path tempted him, but it led to a creek he didn't recognize. The sound of rustling leaves made him jump, and he quickly turned back. Each step seemed to take him further from where he wanted to go. Samuel's courage was fading.

Exhausted, Samuel sat under a large oak tree, feeling utterly defeated. He wanted to give up and just stay there until someone found him. His heart felt heavy with fear and loneliness. He didn't know what else to do. Closing his eyes, he whispered, "Please help me find my way." But the forest remained silent, offering no comfort.

Just then, a soft glow appeared in the distance. Samuel opened his eyes and saw it—a gentle, warm light. It seemed to beckon him, promising safety. He hesitated, then remembered his whispered prayer. With new hope, he decided to follow the light. "I can do this," he thought. The light flickered, leading him onward.

The light guided Samuel through the trees, lighting a clear path. Soon, he recognized the old oak tree near his house. Relief washed over him as he ran toward home. There, his family and friends were waiting, worried but relieved. "The light showed me the way," Samuel exclaimed. Safe at last, he knew courage and faith had led him out.
