Going to School

Every morning, Emma went to school with a big smile on her face. She loved everything about school, from her uniform to her classes. But one day, Emma realized she couldn't find her favorite book for the book report. Without the book, she couldn't complete her assignment. Her heart sank as she thought about not having her report ready for class.

Emma decided to ask her mom for help. They searched every corner of the house, but the book was nowhere to be found. Emma started to feel anxious. She knew how much her teacher valued the book reports. ' - What if I can't find it?' Emma asked her mom. ' - We'll keep looking,' her mom replied reassuringly.

Emma walked to school with her friends, but she couldn't stop thinking about her missing book. ' - What's wrong, Emma?' her friend Jake asked. ' - I lost my book for the report,' Emma replied. They tried to cheer her up, but Emma still felt worried. ' - Maybe you left it in the classroom,' suggested her friend Lily.

Emma checked her classroom as soon as she arrived at school, but the book wasn't there. She felt like giving up. ' - I can't do it without my book,' Emma said to herself. During recess, she sat alone on a bench, feeling defeated. ' - Maybe I'm just not meant to do this report,' she thought sadly.

Just then, her teacher, Mrs. Harper, walked over and sat beside her. ' - What's bothering you, Emma?' she asked gently. Emma explained her problem. ' - I can't find my book for the report,' she said. Mrs. Harper thought for a moment. ' - Why don't you choose a different book and start fresh?' she suggested. Emma's eyes lit up as she realized she could still complete her assignment.

Emma picked a new book from the library and started working on her report. She worked hard during lunch and after school. ' - I can do this,' she told herself. By the end of the day, she had finished her report. ' - I did it!' she exclaimed happily. She turned in her report the next day and felt proud of herself for not giving up.
