As night fell, Matan tried to sleep without his pacifier. He tossed and turned, feeling very worried. Mr. Floppy seemed to whisper, - You can do it, Matan. Matan sighed, - But I miss my pacifier so much. He decided to give it another try.
Matan felt a little braver but still couldn't sleep. He heard the sounds of the forest and got scared. - What if I never sleep without my pacifier? he asked Mr. Floppy. He tried to be brave and closed his eyes again. But the noises were too much.
Matan felt tired and sad. He thought maybe he should just use his pacifier. - I can't do it, Mr. Floppy, he whispered. Tears filled his eyes. He felt like giving up and taking his pacifier from his bag. - It's so hard, he said.
Then, Matan's mom came over. - What's wrong, Matan? she asked. - I want to be a big boy and say goodbye to my pacifier, but I can't, he replied. His mom smiled, - You are already so brave. How about we tell Mr. Floppy a bedtime story together? Matan nodded and felt a bit better.
