Gurjeet's Brave Adventure

Gurjeet loved listening to stories about the Indus River. One day, she heard about an ancient treasure hidden deep in the river. Her eyes sparkled with excitement. But there was a problem: the river was guarded by fierce water animals. Gurjeet knew that finding the treasure would be very dangerous. She decided to be brave and find it anyway.
Early in the morning, Gurjeet climbed out of her window. She landed on a small boat floating on the river. As she paddled, a crocodile suddenly appeared! Gurjeet's heart pounded. - Go away, crocodile! she shouted. But the crocodile snapped its jaws, ready to attack.
Quickly, Gurjeet grabbed a stick. She poked it at the crocodile's nose. The crocodile roared and swam away, splashing water everywhere. - That was close, Gurjeet whispered to herself. She was relieved but knew more dangers awaited.
Suddenly, the water below her began to swirl. A huge shark leaped out and swallowed her whole! Inside the dark belly, Gurjeet remembered her spear. She bravely thrust it into the shark's side. - I won't give up! she cried. The shark spat her out with a mighty splash.
Gurjeet floated in the river, feeling tired and small. She thought about the treasure and her adventure. - Maybe I should go home, she sighed. She felt like giving up. The river seemed too big and scary now.
Just then, a friendly dolphin appeared. It chirped happily and swam in circles around Gurjeet. - You can help me? Gurjeet asked. The dolphin nodded, and Gurjeet felt hope returning. She climbed onto its back, holding on tight.
With the dolphin's help, Gurjeet reached the riverbank safely. She waved goodbye to her new friend. Her father was waiting there with open arms. - I'm so proud of you, he said with a smile. Gurjeet smiled back, feeling brave and happy.
