Hania was a happy little girl with big blue eyes and white blonde hair. She loved her rainbow-colored beads necklace. One sunny day in Warsaw, she decided to go to her first swimming class. But, she felt scared about swimming in the big pool.

Hania walked to the pool and saw the water. It looked very deep. She wanted to run back home. But then she saw other kids having fun. She wanted to have fun too.

Hania took a deep breath and dipped her toes in the water. It was cold! She quickly pulled her feet back. She felt like crying.

Hania's swimming teacher, Miss Marta, came over. - It's okay to feel scared, Hania, Miss Marta said. - I can't do it, Hania replied, tears in her eyes.

Miss Marta gave Hania a floatie and a big smile. - Let's try together, Miss Marta said. Hania held Miss Marta's hand and floated in the water. She felt a little brave.

Hania started to kick her legs and move her arms. - I'm doing it! Hania shouted happily. She felt so proud and brave. She couldn't wait for the next swimming class.
