How to Babysit a Grandpa
Join curious little Elliot as he spends a day at Grandpa's house, trying to solve the tricky problem of keeping his wise grandpa entertained. Elliot was spending the day with his grandpa. Grandpa was reading a big book. " - How do I babysit a grandpa?" Elliot wondered. Grandpa chuckled. " - It's a mystery, isn't it?" he said. Elliot decided he would figure out what made Grandpa happy.
Elliot wanted to play with his toy cars with Grandpa. He set them up on the floor. " - Let's race!" Elliot said excitedly. But Grandpa was too sleepy and yawned. " - Maybe later, Elliot," Grandpa replied.
Elliot tried to read a storybook with Grandpa. He picked his favorite book with lots of pictures. " - Can you read this one, Grandpa?" Elliot asked. But Grandpa's glasses were missing, and he couldn't see the words. " - Oh dear, where did I leave them?" Grandpa mumbled.
Elliot thought of watching TV, Grandpa's favorite show was on. " - Let's watch together!" Elliot suggested. But the remote control was lost under the couch. " - I can't find it," Elliot said, feeling worried.
Elliot sat down, feeling sad. " - I can't do anything right," he sighed. Grandpa noticed Elliot's frown. " - Sometimes, we all need a little help," Grandpa said gently. Elliot thought maybe he should give up.
Suddenly, Grandpa smiled. " - Why don't we do what you love, Elliot?" he suggested. Elliot's eyes lit up. " - Really?" Elliot asked, feeling hopeful. " - Yes, let's find your favorite toy," Grandpa agreed.
Elliot ran to find his tractor hat. " - Let's play outside!" he exclaimed. They went into the garden, and Grandpa pushed him on the swing. " - This is fun!" Elliot laughed. Grandpa was happy too, and they spent the afternoon together.
Elliot learned that spending time together was the best way to babysit Grandpa. " - I thought I had to do everything," Elliot said. " - But all you needed was to be with me," Grandpa replied. Elliot hugged Grandpa. " - I love babysitting you," Elliot giggled.
