They tried again, but Rafaela saw a big balloon floating. " - It's so high up!" Rafaela exclaimed. The balloon seemed bigger than the sky. Her heart pounded. " - I'm too little," she said. Safta nodded understandingly, " - We can go slowly, my dear."
Rafaela watched the parade from afar. It looked so fun, but she felt frozen. " - Maybe I can't do it," Rafaela sighed. Safta hugged her tight. " - I believe in you," Safta whispered. Rafaela wanted to be brave, just like her Safta.
Safta had an idea. " - Let's try something small first," she said. They walked to a tiny band playing music. Rafaela tapped her feet. " - This is fun!" she giggled. Safta smiled, " - See, you're already so brave." Rafaela felt courage growing inside her.
Finally, Rafaela held Safta's hand tightly. " - I'm ready," she said. They walked together to the parade. The music was loud, but Rafaela laughed. " - I did it!" she cheered. Safta kissed her cheek, " - You're the bravest of all." Rafaela beamed with joy.
