Ido and the Bear

Tolerance Pixar style

Ido, a funny little boy in New York, loves bears but is scared of the dark. When his favorite teddy bear goes missing, Ido must face his fears and learn about tolerance to find it.

Ido, a funny little boy, loved bears more than anything. One day in New York, he found his teddy bear missing! It was dark in his room, and he was scared. " - Where is my bear?" Ido cried, searching everywhere. The room felt big and spooky without his bear. Ido knew he had to be brave to find it.

Ido decided to look under his bed first. But it was dark and scary down there. " - I don't like the dark," he whispered, feeling frightened. He wished he wasn't scared, but he couldn't help it. The darkness seemed to grow bigger and scarier. Ido needed a flashlight, but it was all the way across the room.

Ido mustered his courage and tiptoed to the other side of the room. But as he grabbed the flashlight, the batteries fell out! " - Oh no," Ido said, feeling sadder. Now he couldn't light up the dark spots. Without light, the shadows seemed to dance around him. Ido sat on the floor, feeling like giving up.

Ido felt like he couldn't find his bear. " - Maybe I should stop looking," he said softly. He thought about how much he missed hugging his teddy bear at night. " - I just want my bear," he whispered, feeling small. The room was quiet, except for the wind outside. Ido hugged his knees and sighed.

Just then, his mom peeked in and saw him. " - Don't give up, Ido," she encouraged with a smile. She helped him fix the flashlight and said, " - Let's be brave together." Ido felt a spark of hope. He realized he didn't have to be scared alone. With his mom's help, the dark seemed less frightening.

With the room lit up, Ido found his teddy bear under the bed! " - There you are!" he laughed, feeling happy. He learned that sometimes, being brave means asking for help. Ido hugged his bear tightly, feeling proud. He wasn't so scared of the dark anymore. He knew he could face it with a little help.
