Jorj loved dinosaurs more than anything. Every day after school, he and his best friend Harry raced around Jorj's backyard on their dirt bike and ATV 4-wheeler. One sunny afternoon, Jorj noticed his favorite dinosaur toy was missing. " - Harry, I can't find my T-Rex!" Jorj exclaimed. " - Don't worry, we'll find it," Harry assured him. Jorj felt like finding his T-Rex was the most important thing in the world.
Jorj and Harry searched the backyard, but there was no sign of the dinosaur. " - Maybe it's in the sandpit," Harry suggested. But when they got there, all they found were some old toy trucks. Jorj felt a little discouraged. " - It has to be somewhere!" Jorj insisted, determined to keep looking. They decided to check the bushes next.
The bushes proved tricky, with thorny branches and lots of leaves. " - Ouch! I scratched my arm," Jorj said, pulling back. " - Let's try over by the big rock," Harry suggested. But the rock hid nothing but ants and a forgotten tennis ball. Jorj's hope dwindled as they kept searching without success. " - We'll find it, I promise," Harry reassured him.
Jorj sat on the porch steps, feeling defeated. " - Maybe it's just gone," Jorj sighed. Harry sat next to him, patting his back. " - Don't give up yet," Harry encouraged. But Jorj felt like he would never see his T-Rex again. " - I guess it's no use," Jorj murmured, feeling like his adventure had ended.
Just then, Jorj's mom came outside with a smile. " - Have you checked the garage?" she asked. Jorj's eyes lit up with hope. " - We haven't!" he exclaimed, jumping up. " - Let's go!" Harry cheered, and they both raced to the garage. The thought of finding the T-Rex filled Jorj with excitement.
Inside the garage, Jorj spotted the T-Rex sitting on a shelf. " - There it is!" he shouted with joy. " - I can't believe we missed it," Harry laughed. Jorj hugged his dinosaur, feeling relieved and happy. " - Thanks for helping me, Harry," Jorj said gratefully. He realized that sometimes you need a little patience and help from friends.
