Next, Jorj heard the roar of Harry's dirt bike next door. Maybe the ball rolled over there? " - Harry, did my ball come over here?" he called out. Harry was busy revving his bike and didn't hear him at first. When he finally stopped, he shook his head. Jorj felt a bit sad; maybe the ball was lost forever.
Feeling disheartened, Jorj sat on the steps of the tree house. " - I'll never find it," he sighed. His mom came out with a glass of lemonade. " - What's wrong, Jorj?" she asked. He explained everything, feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders. Jorj considered giving up on his adventure.
Just then, Manny called from her garden, " - Jorj, I think I found something red under the bushes!" Jorj jumped up, hope lighting his eyes.
