Odin was excited for another day at the job site with his mom. They visited places with big machines that dug and lifted. But today, something was wrong. The big crane was not moving. Without it, work couldn't go on, and Odin felt worried. - Mommy, why isn't the crane working? Odin asked.
Odin and his mom walked closer to the crane. A worker explained that the crane's engine wouldn't start. Odin felt his heart sink. Without the crane, the whole job would be delayed. - How will we fix it? Odin wondered aloud.
Odin and his mom moved to another site, hoping for better news. But here, too, the machines were quiet. The cement mixer had broken down. - Oh no, not again! Odin exclaimed. This was becoming a bigger problem than he thought. Without the mixer, there would be no concrete for the foundation.
Feeling overwhelmed, Odin sat down on a pile of dirt. Nothing seemed to be working today. - Maybe we should just go home, Odin said sadly. His mom gave him a comforting hug, reminding him they could find a way. But Odin wasn't so sure anymore.
Just then, a wise old mechanic arrived. He had fixed many machines before. - Let me take a look, he said confidently. He showed Odin how to check the crane's engine and the mixer. Odin felt hope returning. Maybe they could fix everything after all.
With the mechanic's help, the crane roared back to life. The cement mixer started turning again. Odin jumped for joy. - We did it, Mommy! Odin cheered. Thanks to Odin's curiosity and the mechanic's wisdom, the job sites were busy once more.
