Kayden's family got on the ATV to explore the woods. The ATV rumbled and bounced. Kayden giggled, but they still saw no moose. - Where's the moose? Kayden asked. They kept looking, but the forest was quiet.
After a long ride, they stopped by a stream. Kayden listened carefully for moose sounds. But all he heard was the water and rustling leaves. Uncle John said, - Maybe they are hiding today. Kayden felt a little sad.
Kayden and his family walked deeper into the woods. The leaves crunched under their feet. Suddenly, a rustling noise made Kayden's heart skip! But it was just a squirrel. - Oh no, it's not a moose, Kayden sighed.
Kayden was tired and wanted to give up. - Maybe we won't see a moose, he said sadly. He sat on a log and watched the leaves fall. Grandpa Lee sat next to him. - It's okay, my boy, sometimes we just have to be patient.
