Kingdom Kids: Called to Shine

Courage Digital art style

Join Steve, a confident young boy, on a courageous quest to bring light to his village despite daunting obstacles. When the village's beloved lantern is lost, the community is plunged into darkness. Steve must find the courage to overcome challenges and restore the light, learning the importance of bravery and perseverance along the way.

"You are not just any kid... You are a Kingdom Kid!" God made you special. God made you strong. And guess what? You were born to shine!

The Bible says: “You are the light of the world…” (Matthew 5:14) That means wherever you go— home, school, or the playground— you carry God’s light!

As Steve trudged on, the rain began to pour again, soaking him to the bone. He sought shelter under a big tree, shivering and tired. - It's so cold, I can't go on, Steve said through chattering teeth. But he remembered the villagers counting on him. He knew he had to keep going despite the freezing rain.

Soaked and weary, Steve sat under the tree, feeling like giving up. - Maybe the lantern is gone forever, he sighed, tears mixing with the rain. But then, he remembered his parents' words about courage. - You are made to shine, they always said. With renewed hope, Steve decided to push forward.

Suddenly, a rainbow appeared, casting light on a hidden path. Steve realized it was a sign. - I must follow the rainbow, he said with newfound energy. He remembered stories of treasures at the end of rainbows and hoped the lantern was there. Guided by the colors, Steve ran towards the vibrant arc.

At the rainbow's end, Steve found the lantern, tangled in branches. - I found it! Steve shouted joyfully, untangling it carefully. As he carried it back, the villagers cheered, their faces lighting up with happiness. Together, they hung the lantern back up, bathing the village in warm light. Steve knew he'd brought courage and light to his home.
